Recap of ILADS Lyme Conference in San Francisco

On October 17-19, 2008, ILADS and LDA had their annual conference in San Francisco. If you live on the west coast, this was a great opportunity for you since most of these conferences are on the East Coast. Read more for additional information on registration and schedule. VIDEOS FROM THE CONFERENCE (Part I and Part II videos):

 

ILADS is the major player at the conference (International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society), http://www.ilads.org. This portion of the conference takes place on Saturday and Sunday and will have mostly physicians in attendence.

The “patient and advocate” portion of the conference is on Friday of the weekend hosted by LDA (Lyme Disease Association), http://www.lymediseaseassociation.org.

So, LDA is Friday, ILADS is Saturday and Sunday. ILADS and LDA are completely separate events, with separate registration and organizers, but for convenience, they both take place at the same hotel.
