I consider what I share below to be my most important contribution to the Lyme disease community, and probably the most important work of my life.<\/p>\n

Only, most if it isn’t my work. If I took credit for it, I would be a cheat. It is the work of Doug MacLean, an amazing mechanical engineer who pioneered the use of frequency technology (“Rife” machines) for Lyme disease, back in the 1980’s. All I did was organize and write down everything Doug taught me. And that work is the most important work of my life, because of how important Doug’s work was. (What is a rife machine?<\/a>)<\/p>\n

As far as we know, Doug was the first person ever to use frequency technology for Lyme disease. Many of you have already read my book, Lyme Disease and Rife Machines<\/a>. In this book, I chronicle Doug’s research and share my own story of using frequencies for my Lyme disease.<\/p>\n

Doug’s story – and wisdom – are quite amazing, and guided me through my healing journey. In fact, more than anyone else, Doug’s words of wisdom<\/a> became mantras that I repeated over and over in my head.<\/p>\n

If you’ve already read my book, and some of this stuff seems familiar to you, I think you’ll still find this post a welcome reminder of Doug’s wisdom. And if you haven’t read the book yet, you’ll find this post to contain a fascinating story of science and victory against the odds.<\/p>\n

Doug got Lyme disease in the early 80’s, and was one of the first people to receive IV antibiotics for it (which didn’t cure him). He got ahold of this book<\/a>, and thought to himself, “I can do this.” Being an engineer, he had the know-how to improvise technologically. He acquired spirochetes from a friend who worked at a medical laboratory (this feat alone was amazing, and a very mind-blowing story, Doug told it to me in person). He experimented in his basement and observed spirochetes being killed by frequencies, under a microscope. What a breakthrough thing to see for the early 1980’s, right! So amazing.<\/p>\n

After Doug healed himself and his family from Lyme disease, he just went on with his life. He never sold, or made a penny, on rife technology. His technology laid largely dormant for years, save for the few dozen who heard about it via word-of-mouth. So unthinkable that such an amazing technology just sat there.<\/p>\n

In 2001, being very sick myself with Lyme and having failed so many treatments, I read about Doug’s story on a webpage which was deleted just a few days after I found it! Had I searched online just a few days later I would have never heard of rife technology for Lyme disease. Through a period of luck and miracles I ended up getting Doug’s phone number and driving to Seattle to see him. He helped me build a coil machine (aka “Doug Device). The rest is history.<\/p>\n

For the remainder of today’s blog post, I’m going to share with you links to more pieces of this story, so you can dig into Doug’s story, his contribution to the Lyme community, and this amazing breakthrough. I know this is somewhat old news as my Lyme Disease & Rife Machines book<\/a> was published over a decade ago. But… right down to this very day, I still think this is a story which everyone needs to hear and which is flat-out amazing and unbelievable. And, many of you may not have seen all of these links yet. So I wanted a blog post where I could put them all in one place.<\/p>\n
