Some of our favorite Babesia & Bartonella supplements

We have had some requests lately for a list of Babesia & Bartonella supplements which can be ordered form local health food stores or via phone; many people don’t use computers. Here is a list of some of our favorite supplements for these conditions – all are non-pharmaceutical and over-the-counter.

Please be aware that this information is the result of our informal research. This information SHOULD ONLY BE USED under the care of your own licensed physician. We are not doctors, and this information is not FDA-approved.

Babesia:

Cryptolepsis: this is one of the most important treatments for both Babesia and Batonella, as recommended by Dr. Horowitz and others. To order:

Artemisinin: This is of course the most well-known Babesia herb, a derivative of the Artemesia plant. It may best be used pulsed on and off, with breaks between. The Zhang brand is very reputable. http://www.hepapro.com/ or call – 949.788.9292

Neem: The neem tree and associated extracts can have powerful anti-Babesia activity; be careful though, only certain formulations are intended for consumption, most others are very dangerous to consume internally. Available from local health food stores.

Oregano: Oregano is a very versatile herb with activity against many microbes. Available from local health food stores.

Stay tuned for more…

Stay tuned for a series of articles we have planned on this blog, regarding rehabilitating joints as well as exercise programs for Lyme sufferers. These are two of the most important topics we can address since Lyme specifically impacts the joints. Look for these articles in the coming weeks.

In other news…

Lots of new bugs being discovered related to Lyme disease. Here’s a new strain of Borrelia, and here’s a new strain of Bartonella.

I would also love to hear your results if you ended up using the curcumiun upgrade I mentioned last month (under the care of your doctor of course). Please post your results below. I continue to feel this C3 formulation of Curcumin is among the most important developments of the last 6 months.

Thanks for reading!
