A cowgirl at heart….

Linda’s comment: I want to share with the world the state I live in, Arizona…..this video tells a good story. It is a slice of heaven, except for July, August and part of September. Then you get 115-110 with 70% humidity….yep, we run to the cool mountains every time we get a chance. The evenings during this time average around 90 to 105…..we do have snow and water skiing….some of the most beautiful lakes and rivers around. We have 3 ski resorts……
Yesterday, we had a tornado rip through my retirement community. Of course, being from Illinois I’m use to them,, but this one truly scared me…Our 2 standard labs and my little foo foo pup were all trying to get in my lap. I was headed to the bathroom to put me and the dogs in the tub with pillows over up and looked out the window in time to see the roofs come off of the two condos across the street. Six condos on my street lost their roof, many trees down and windows blown out. whewwwwwwwwwwwww My girls told me I was kept safe because of all my crystals and angels. Ummmmm, I collect them and have over 100, perhaps they are right. All I could do was thank my Lord God Jesus for keeping my home safe and not taking any lives. Anyone need an extra house air-conditioner, I happen to have one in my front yard from someone home….L0L Oh yea, a TV antenna too and enough roof pieces to build a shed….LOL
While our state is beautiful as you will see from the video below, WE DO HAVE TICKS!! BUT, shsssssssss
don’t tell our health department that, as they believe there are no ticks in AZ….I guess when the birds stop at the border and chirp…”noooooooooo, we can’t fly over Arizona they don’t allow ticks” <tongue in cheek>, or the critters on the ground stop dead in their tracks at the border and go around Arizona or the ticks hitching a ride on trucks and autos jump off before they get to the Arizona boarder!! I know I’m being sarcastic, but we have women and children suffering and dying from tick-borne diseases that are transmitted in blood, vaginal fluid, semen, saliva, mothers breast milk, BLOOD, tear ducts, etc., etc., etc. This disease is not only carried by ticks, but mosquitoes, dog/cat fleas, mice, birds, sand fleas, etc., etc., etc. What makes it worse people are being given false information and told they can “cure” Lyme, WRONG……However, you can get control and live a normal life…..
Just enjoy this video….I guess I have always been a cowgirl at heart….
