Copy Machines & HIPPA Laws

Everyone needs to know this! I didn’t know it until today. If you already know this info, then just pass it along.
This could very well put a doctor or medical facility in violation of HIPPA Laws if your old copier gets into the wrong hands. For the medical profession it is WISE to pay the extra that will erase each copy as it is made….average cost is
$500, but a Hippa violation and patient suing you for his/her medical records getting into the wrong hands could cost you 1000 times more than $500.00.
