“Be”
Be understanding to your enemies,
Be loyal to your friends.
Be strong enough to face the world
each day.
Be weak enough to know you cannot
do everything alone.
Be generous to those who need your help.
Be frugal with what you need yourself.
Be wise enough to know that you do
not know everything.
Be foolish enough to believe in
miracles
Be willing to share your joys
Be willing to share the sorrows of
others
Be a leader when you see a path
others have missed.
Be a follower when you are shrouded
by the mists of uncertainty.
Be the first to congratulate an
opponent who succeeds
Be the last to criticize a colleague
who fails.
Be sure where your next step will fall,
so that you will not stumble.
Be sure of your final destination, in
case you are going the wrong way.
Be loving to those who love you.
Be loving to those who do not love
you, and they may change.
Above all, be yourself.

Linda’s comments: Probiotics and digestive enzymes are a MUST in life today as we know it, but more importantly probiotics and digestive enzymes are vital to recovery of autoimmune disease, lyme disease, Cancer, etc., etc. etc. What most don’t understand is the best time to begin probiotics and digestive enzymes is BEFOR you get sick….

Could probiotics affect behaviour?
By Stephen Daniells, 23-Jun-2009
Increasing knowledge of how the gut and brain is opening up the possibilities for probiotics. At the 5th International Yakult Symposium in Amsterdam, Stephen Daniells met Professor John Bienenstock from McMaster University to find out where the current thinking is with probiotics and brain health.

Linda’s comments: What amazes me is they have said for years that those who suffered from MONO ended up having Lyme disease. So now they feel they have made a discovery that many doctors and patients have known about in the alternative arena….Bottom-line, at least they are now publishing about these issues…

UC Davis Finds Lyme Disease Bacteria in Lymph Nodes
by Maejoy Tutor in Diseases on Jun 15, 2011
One of the most significant and considered as threatening and rising diseases in US is the Lyme disease. The bacteria which causes this seems to be hiding particularly in lymph nodes. University of California Davis researchers have reported that this can trigger a considerable immune response, except that it is not too strong to defeat the infection.

Prayer Request
We are asking everyone to say a prayer for “Darkhorse” 3rd Battalion 5th
Marines and their families. They are fighting it out in Afghanistan & they
have lost 12 marines in 4 days. IT WOULD BE NICE TO SEE the message spread
if more could pass it on. God Bless America and God Bless the United States

Linda comment: To investigate whether Borrelia burgdorferi sensu lato (s.l.) infection is associated with mortality in mountain hares, tissues and ticks collected from hares were investigated for infection with the spirochete. mountain hare to some degree functions as a transmission host for B. burgdorferi s.s. and Borrelia sp. SV1.
Excerpt:
Our results indicate that disseminated Borrelia infection in
hares rarely occurs and, presumably, does not play a central role in the
suspected population decline. The results also suggest that the mountain
hare to some degree functions as a transmission host for B. burgdorferi
s.s. and Borrelia sp. SV1.

Till this silent lurking monster
Crawled out of the bushes and took it away

ATTN Lymies: if you have Netflix– please go to the Under Our Skin linkon the site and read the reviews– it is apparent that IDSA has party-line people in there bashing the science and evidence. Yet not one can show where the evidence is wrong… need support for UOS on Netflix reviews
PLEASE GO THERE AND POST….LET’S SHUT DOWN IDSA…..

Linda’s comment: Where will it all end…..Lyme has become a world-wide epidemic, yet the ISDA boys/girls say there is not such thing as chronic Lyme!! I don’t know where they went to medical school but they need to ask for a refund from their medical school. Many of the IDSA members have written published studies on Lyme and the co-infections, yet they deny treatment to suffering people….

An emerging clinical entity that reproduces clinical manifestations
similar to those observed in Lyme disease (LD) has been recently
under discussion in Brazil. Due to etiological and laboratory particularities
it is named LD-like syndrome or LD imitator syndrome. The
condition is considered to be a zoonosis transmitted by ticks of the
genus Amblyomma, possibly caused by interaction of multiple fastidious
microorganisms originating a protean clinical picture, including
neurological, osteoarticular and erythema migrans-like lesions.

Linda’s comment: expansion of the tick vector Ixodes scapularis is driving Lyme disease emergence in Canada. With all the rain and moisture this year there will be hundreds of thousands more ticks every place in the US and Canada. BE prepared…

Excerpt:
Conclusions: These data are consistent with I. scapularis ticks dispersed from the USA, by migratory birds, founding populations where the climate is warmest, then establishment of B. burgdorferi from the USA several years after I. scapularis have established. These observations provide vital information for public health to minimize the impact of LD in Canada.

Linda’s comments: This makes me wonder how many of our military personnel have become infected with Bartonella?
