Excerpt:
I know that there’ll be a better day
When the clouds break and the sun shines my way
When all my troubles are kept at bay…
But that day is not today
I know that better times are ahead
When I will feel like getting out of bed
When my body wont weigh so heavy like lead…
But for now those are just words to be said
I know there will be a better time
When I wont spend my life living on a dime
And every moment I’ll be feeling fine…
But of “better days” I have seen no sign
I know that there are battles to be won
Like a stroll on the beach in the bright hot sun
Or going shopping with my daughters and having some fun…
But of victories I have not seen a single one
But still I keep pressing on each day
Hoping a cure will come my way
And all that happened in my adversity….
Will one day be just a sad memeory
So here’s to “better days” ahead
For all of us whose lives are led
By the hope that all the dreams that be…
WILL ONE DAY BE REALITY!

Linda’s comments: Probiotics and digestive enzymes are a MUST in life today as we know it, but more importantly probiotics and digestive enzymes are vital to recovery of autoimmune disease, lyme disease, Cancer, etc., etc. etc. What most don’t understand is the best time to begin probiotics and digestive enzymes is BEFOR you get sick….

Could probiotics affect behaviour?
By Stephen Daniells, 23-Jun-2009
Increasing knowledge of how the gut and brain is opening up the possibilities for probiotics. At the 5th International Yakult Symposium in Amsterdam, Stephen Daniells met Professor John Bienenstock from McMaster University to find out where the current thinking is with probiotics and brain health.

Linda’s comments: I will not give up with trying to make people understand the deadly hazards of Splenda…..Those who don’t want to listen are usually addicted to Aspartame, Splenda and the other deadly artificial sweeteners…..It saddens me to watch, EVEN Doctors, make the same mistakes of drinking these deadly poisons, plus the fact they are telling their patients and friends that it is OK to drink this neurotoxin….Very scary out there, watching those make these mistakes. I just had a good example on Facebook, where this kid could not gets his head wrapped around how deadly Splenda is….<sigh> Oh well as my granny use to say, “You can lead a horse to water, BUT you can’t make them drink”!!! SAD!!

James Bowen, M.D., A physician, biochemist, and survivor of aspartame poisoning warns about yet another synthetic sweetener, Splenda.
Hawaii, May 8, 2005 — The chemical sucralose, marketed as “Splenda”, has replaced aspartame as the #1 artificial sweetener in foods and beverages. Aspartame has been forced out by increasing public awareness that it is both a neurotoxin and an underlying cause of chronic illness worldwide. Dr. James Bowen, Researcher and biochemist, reports:

AAAS article on most recent XMRV study
In their publication “Science Now.” Hedging their bets?
Linda’s comment: So as I see it, it is just another pathogen that chronically ill people need to deal with….Is it really a virus, parasite, bacterial????? Don’t feed it, get on the FIGHT program and stop it in its track. All of these critters like the spirochete love feeding off GMO, toxic chemical sweeteners, heavy metals, etc., etc., etc., This gives them their energies/food supply to wreak havoc on our bodies. Healthy people have an advantage over chronic illness. The FIGHT program is one of the best prevention programs I have ever experienced.
Listen up as the XMRV is just one of many new things that are attacking our bodies. Scientists are having a difficult time keeping up with all the new tragedies attacking our bodies because of our toxic environments.
Excerpt:
A theory linking chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) to an infectious mouse virus known as XMRV has taken a second major hit. First proposed last October in Science, the virus-CFS connection was quickly challenged by a British group. Now a second team of British virologists reports that, after examining tissue from 170 CFS patients, they have failed to find evidence of XMRV.
Patients with CFS often report that their condition–a mix of symptoms including unexplained pains and excessive fatigue–began after an otherwise normal viral infection. And scientists in the past have preliminarily linked CFS to a few viruses. However, those links have fallen apart under scrutiny, and without a firm biological cause for CFS, victims continue to face skepticism that their condition is a “real” disease.

Linda’s comments: I attended a lecture by Dr Martin Pall regarding NO/ONOO and found it extremely interesting. You can google him and get a large number of articles by Dr Pall. Well worth your reading time.
Excerpt:
We are excited to present information from the forthcoming book by Martin L. Pall, PhD, who shows that all these conditions – and probably many others – involve the same key biochemical response: elevated levels of nitric oxide (NO) and its oxidant product peroxynitrite (ONOO–), which initiate a biochemical vicious cycle. Although the mechanisms underlying this ongoing NO/ONOO– cycle are well-documented, Dr. Pall presents new information about how this cycle interacts to produce patterns of symptoms. The theory elegantly answers many questions, including: Continued |

Linda’s comment: Probiotic are extremely to those of us with chronic illness, especially Lyme patient’s….. Guy Montague-Jones is right, as probiotics are needed to fulfill gut health potential. Over the years I have tried many probiotics and finally found one that I like. Plus, it doesn’t have to be refrigerated…. www.researchednutritionals.com When you go to the website, you will find you need to purchase their products through a doctor. I’m working on that right now. Please check back, as I have a doctor who I am working with that will give his code, so that you can order direct from the company. The name of the probiotic I take is “Prescript-Assist Pro” and it is excellent.

Linda’s comments: I’m so sorry people are finding out the hard way about the over the counter products. Forget the bacteria found, think about your poor sinus getting slammed with these chemicals and toxins. There are plenty of things you can do for your sinus and to keep your nasal passage clean and free from infection.
Using a neti-pot is fabulous here is a great u-tube example….
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8sDIbRAXlg
I use the ACS200 ppm silver and the Quinton Marine Plasma “isotonic” for my washing. Your sinus’ will be doing a happy dance….PLUS, it knocks out the infection. I would suggest NOT using a plastic neti-pot….you can find them all over the Internet or at your local Holistic stores. Enjoy!!

Audience: Consumers
Procter & Gamble and FDA notified consumers of a voluntary recall of three lots of Vicks Sinex Nasal Spray in the United States, Germany and the United Kingdom. The bacteria B. cepacia was found in a small amount of product made at its plant in Gross Gerau, Germany. There have been no reports of illness. However, the bacteria could cause serious infections for individuals with a compromised immune system, or those with chronic lung conditions, such as cystic fibrosis. Consumers should simply discard the affected product as they would any over the counter medicine. Customers who have the affected lots can call P&G for a replacement coupon or refund.

BACKGROUND: Persistent Lyme Disease Symptoms (PLDS) have included fatigue, headaches, poor concentration and memory, lightheadedness, joint pain, and mood disturbances. Evidence-based guidelines committees disagree over the severity of PLDS. The 2004 International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society (ILADS) concluded that PLDS are severe. The 2006 Infectious Disease Society of America (IDSA) guidelines committee concluded that PLDS are nothing more than the “aches and pains of daily living” and an ad hoc International Lyme group concluded that PLDS are “symptoms common in persons who have never had Lyme disease.” Continued
