More on cancer diagnostics … with Dr. Gordon

Cancer diagnosis and treatment is ready for an overnight revolution. This WSJ report has vital information about how bad current diagnosis is and offers some real hope for the future. If you add this information to the new Johnson and Johnson test that finds one cancer cell in a billion in peripheral blood and therefore alerts doctors and patients. Most cancers are not local by the time they are found; if you find a 6 mm lump in a breast there are already 100 million cancer cells present there!! Now that we know radiation offers no help nor does lymph node dissection in the axilla offer any benefit, this is the time to move on to any tests that will motivate patients to take better care of themselves.

My FIGHT program is the answer but patients need some test that they believe is worth paying attention to in order to follow my program and then see that the less than optimal test results are all improving and they are no longer getting sick.

Also note in this report that there is a high false positive rate on skin biopsies for melanoma so who is getting needless surgery again? Please join me in alerting patients to the futility of current cut, burn and poison and the value of a total health program like my FIGHT program. We know we can improve the outcome of every measurable parameter of disease including cancer, cv, dx and dementia and slow aging.

Note that researchers at UC San Diego find that high cholesterol is protective against environmental toxins!  The cholesterol myth needs to be destroyed; low cholesterol is associated with bad outcomes. Only oxidized cholesterol is worth dealing with and simple things like Kyolic Heart formula has been proven by Dr Budoff at UCLA
(http://search.barnesandnoble.com/cholesterol/matthew-budoff/e/9781935297109) to be 7.5 times more cardio protective than aspirin and statins together!

The public is brain washed today and they, therefore, have most of the facts all wrong! You need to educate your patients and office visits do not provide the needed time so rent space and invite patients to an evening or a Saturday afternoon free lecture; you could plan on at least 1/2 day for your patients and their families. Do this once or twice a year, as it doubles your practice and increases your satisfaction with your work. Use a Holiday Inn or some affordable large space.

Also refer them to all my lectures on my website and all my PowerPoint lectures are downloadable to use in your office. Contact Liz at Longevity Plus, 928-472-4263, ext 133, for assistance on using one of my PowerPoint lectures.

If we are to avoid bankrupting our nation with bad medicine, you need to become a spokesman for our FACT brand of Advanced Medicine. Put together a flyer, hand out and mail to everyone in your area and rent a space to share what you learn in FACT with your patients and friends and the public. They are ready to listen as Andrew Weil’s book title says No One Can Afford to Get Sick!

Cancer can be notoriously difficult to spot, so scientists are working to develop new techniques to better detect tumors in the body.

Such tools could potentially identify cancer cells more reliably and earlier than currently available methods, such as mammography, biopsies and magnetic resonance imaging, or MRI. Improved detection methods could help speed up treatment decisions and monitor whether a therapy is working.

Food Allergies – with comments from Dr. Gordon

Food allergy/sensitivities contribute to most chronic diseases to a greater or lesser extent, as explained by my FIGHT program. This review has some new developments from mainstream medicine that you need to be aware of for managing this huge problem for most patients.

“In this review, we will examine the relationship between food hypersensitivity and oral tolerance and explore novel therapeutic approaches to modulate the food allergic response.”

They are moving into mucosally targeted strategies instead of injections for management of this problem.

Purpose of review Recent investigation has resulted in significant advances toward definitive therapeutic options for food allergy. In this review, we will explore novel immunotherapeutic interventions for the active treatment of food allergy.
Recent findings Because the injection route for allergen immunotherapy to foods has been associated with an unacceptable risk of severe anaphylactic reactions, use of mucosally targeted therapeutic strategies is of significant interest for food allergy. Allergen-specific immunotherapeutic approaches such as oral, sublingual, epicutaneous, and peptide immunotherapy have demonstrated efficacy in increasing threshold dose and inducing immunologic changes associated with both desensitization and oral tolerance in animal and human trials. More global immunomodulatory strategies, such as Traditional Chinese Medicine and anti-IgE therapy have been shown to effectively target the allergic response, and clinical trials are ongoing to determine the efficacy and safety in human food allergy.

Summary
The advent of therapies that target the mucosal immune response to promote oral tolerance have shown great promise in the treatment of food hypersensitivity. However, there is still significant risk of adverse reactions associated with these therapeutic strategies and further study is needed to carefully advance these therapeutic modalities toward general clinical implementation.

Introduction
The development of novel therapeutic modalities targeting the mucosal immune response has shown great promise in providing a definitive therapy for food allergy. Because food allergy is likely a multifactorial disorder with both genetic and environmental influences, development of primary prevention strategies has been frustrating and at times counter-productive, making development of a definitive therapeutic option a high priority. In this review, we will examine the relationship between food hypersensitivity and oral tolerance and explore novel therapeutic approaches to modulate the food allergic response.

Insanity virus — a crazy idea?

This research about the “insanity” virus has not stopped, and in fact, the more you read up on endogenous retrovirus the more you will see that this all further reinforces my FIGHT4yourhealth concept. The June Discover magazine on the newsstands brings this story up to date but the more you become interested in the infection component of today’s epidemic of impaired health, the more you will see how this infection from endogenous retroviruses found in what we used to call our JUNK DNA, helps explain Bipolar and MS as well as Schizophrenia.

Maybe we all need to get toxins out so our immune system can handle these inborn infections better, and more of us will need to lower the total body burden of all infections fungal bacterial and viral using ACS 200 Silver that is proven to efficiently lower even Borrelia and Candida.

This is worth really understanding, as this is real and when we begin to understand how these virus that are in our DNA are kept under control, until certain things happen, like a severe viral infection during pregnancy, and then years later the child starts to hear voices
etc. I have covered on my website with 8 hours of webinars, the topics of Food, Infection, Genetics, Hormones, Toxins, etc but this aspect of infection was not covered. If we think about it, there could be some tie in here to the live virus given children when they receive their MMR, and subsequent development of Autism. There could be a HERV-W involved in that condition too.

A review of studies of maternal exposure to infectious agents and schizophrenia in their offspring suggests that eliminating certain infections could prevent as many as 30 percent of schizophrenia cases.  Continued

Dr. Gordon’s F.I.G.H.T. For Optimum Health and Anti-Aging Program

See the full program: http://gordonresearch.com/articles_various/fight_protocol.html

Here is an excerpt from the program:

These are my thoughts on how to more effectively help EVERY patient better by using my F.I.G.H.T. for health program which is further outlined on www.gordonresearch.com. I also want to help move us into anti-aging testing, such as offered at www.imhealth.com. As testing will increase compliance, and the better the compliance the better the results you will have in treating anyone.

Briefly, F.I.G.H.T. is an acronym that stands for:

F=Food related aspect and leaky gut
I= Infections
G=Genetics and epigenetics and methylation issues needed for detoxing
H=Heavy Metals and Hormones
T=Toxins

Using F.I.G.H.T. as a protocol for health, you want to be sure you are doing something for your patients in EACH category.
