Levaquin and Cipro Reactions

In 2001, Dr. Jay S. Cohen published a ground-breaking article* on the severe and often disabling reactions some people sustained while taking Levaquin, Cipro, or another FQ antibiotic. Dr. Cohen says, “It is difficult to describe the severity of these reactions. They are devastating. Many of the people in my study were healthy before their reactions. Some were high intensity athletes. Suddenly they were disabled, in terrible pain, unable to work, walk, or sleep.”
The 45 subjects in Dr. Cohen’s study reported the following side effects*.

Peripheral Nervous System

: Tingling, numbness, prickling, burning pain, pins/needles sensation, electrical or shooting pain, skin crawling, sensation, hyperesthesia, hypoesthesia, allodynia (sensitivity to touch), numbness, weakness, twitching, tremors, spasms.

Central Nervous System:

Dizziness, malaise, weakness, impaired coordination, nightmares, insomnia, headaches, agitation, anxiety, panic attacks, disorientation, impaired concentration or memory, confusion, depersonalization, hallucinations, psychoses.

Lyme Disease & Coagulation Problems – Linda’s Comments

Linda’s Comments:

As far as Lyme disease it has been Boluoke and Wobenzyme that got control of the coagulation problems that  I suffered with.  BTW all Lyme patients suffer with thick blood…..my thighs ached so bad that I could not lift my legs on my own.  The aching did not let up so that made it difficult to sleep….The FIGHT protocol is giving me back my life.

As far as chest pain, please allow me to tell you a brief story….The Monday before Christmas, my daughter (31 yrs) was working a night shift and she called me with the clinical symptoms of having a heart attack….I told her to go in the ambulance, which her employer had already called….I told her to only take ONE aspirin that the paramedics would probably give her and let them start saline, as I would arrive at the hospital at the same time as her…

She arrived, they put her on a monitor immediately and ran an EKG (normal)…her blood pressure, which is always normal, was 210/180…..I stayed quiet UNTIL the doctor and nurse left the room…I shoved 2 boluoke, 12 wobenzyme, 2 tubes of Hypertonic, and 20 sprays of ACS200 and ACZnano Zeolite, one right behind the other before the nurse could return to draw blood….WITHIN 8 minutes her blood pressure dropped to 128/55…of course the nurse flew back into the room….she looked at my daughter and ask her if she did anything…I was standing back shaking my head no….the reason I did that is I didn’t want to negate her insurance….I did tell the nurse after we had discharge papers in hand….

Her blood work was normal, enzymes, everything….the “young” ER doc told us, “it just must have been the stress of standing in one position at her job”……I could hardly keep from laughing…however, when we were leaving, the nurse chased us out the ER door and directed her question at me….”Ok mom, tell me what you did”….she knew I was into holistic alternatives….I smile and told her she might never have had to have her quadruple bypass, had she been taking the products I gave me daughter…she wanted my email addy and has since communicated with me down a new path of learning how to stay healthy…

I wouldn’t suggest you tell your patients this (or they will be cheating all the time), BUT, if I cheat and eat something I should not or if I eat in a restaurant and it is not guaranteed organic or GMO free….I swallow at least 12 Wobenzyme so I can begin eating up the garbage I’m eating….

Case Report – A 52-year-old Man with Increasing Fatigue and a Syncopal Episode

Full article: http://www.amc.edu/amr/archives/200606/case1.html

Excerpt:

A 52-year-old male marathon runner with a past medical history significant for glaucoma presented to the emergency department with a two-week history of increasing fatigue after an episode of syncope.

He initially presented to his primary care doctor’s office complaining of flu like symptoms one week after running a marathon and three weeks prior to admission. He described fever, chills, night sweats, increasing fatigue and body aches. He was noted to be an avid runner who had finished within the top five to ten athletes in prior marathons. He stated that despite training intensely, he only finished in 50th place. During this visit, a chest x-ray was obtained which showed no evidence of pneumonia or other abnormalities. He was diagnosed with a minor viral upper respiratory tract infection and over the following week began to notice improvement of his symptoms.

He returned to the office two weeks after the initial visit with worsening fatigue and decreased exercise tolerance. He had become increasingly short of breath after running more than 2 milles. A serologic test for Lyme disease was performed to rule out Lyme carditis after an EKG showed first-degree heart block.

The tick and the time bomb

Linda’s comment:  Thanks to the Colorado Springs INDEPENDENT for presenting this article on Lyme disease.  It presents what is going on today worldwide.  We need more newspapers to come to the Lyme communities rescue and help us get the word out.  I work with thousands of Lymies doing research and helping to guide them to make better healthcare choices.  I personally have battled 2 Lyme infections and have been blessed to live in a state where alternative doctors are licensed to practice <OUTSIDE OF THE BOX>  The one thing I have come to realize is our bodies are so overloaded with pathogens and toxins, that without lifestyle changes, getting rid of the heavy metals, being gluten free, caffeine free, sugar free, alcohol free, fast food free and most importantly GMO FREE, you struggle reaching the level of wellness you desire.  Getting rid of all the above is difficult, since we have industry shoving it in our faces at every turn.  I’m so thankful that I found the FIGHT program that Dr Garry Gordon has developed.  I couldn’t believe how many pathogens and toxins I have dumped over the last year and a half.  I have a long way to go, but I can tell you, I thank God daily for the FIGHT program. DOn’t forget …from the Formaldehyde Institute other names it is known

“…. Ivalon, Quaternium-15, Lysoform,
Formalith, BVF, Methylene oxide, Formalin, Morbicid, Methanal, Methyl
aldehyde, Oxomethane, Formic aldehyde, Fannoform, Fyde, Lofol,
Oxymethylene, Formol, and Superlysoform…”

Quaternium-15 is in almost EVERY cosmetic and hair care product

When we pick up a product at the local grocery store, most of us like to think we are getting something that has been tested and proven to be safe.  After all, we have laws to protect our health and safety, don’t we?  Actually, the government has very limited power to regulate manufacturers, or require testing of their products.

Here are some disturbing facts:

A product that kills 5-% of lab animals through ingestion or inhalation can still receive the federal regulatory designation non-toxic .  Of the 17,000 chemicals that appear in common household products, only 30% have been adequately tested for their negative effects on our health; less than 10% have been tested for their effect on the nervous system; and nothing is known about the combined effects of these chemicals when mixed within our bodies.  No law requires manufacturers to list the exact ingredients on the package label.
Personal care product refers to just about anything we use to clean our bodies or make ourselves look or smell good.  The closest thing to a regulatory agency for the personal care industry is the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and their power is extremely limited.
Here are more unsettling facts regarding personal care products:

The FDA cannot regulate a personal care product until after it is released into the marketplace.  Neither personal care products nor their ingredients are reviewed or approved before they are sold to the public.

The FDA cannot require companies to do safety testing on their personal products before they are sold to the public.

The FDA cannot require recalls of harmful personal care products from the marketplace.

The National Institute of Occupational Safety and health (NIOSH) analyzed 2983 chemicals used in personal care products.  The results were as follows:

884 of the chemicals were toxic
314 caused biological mutation
218 caused reproductive complications
778 caused acute toxicity
148 caused tumors
376 caused skin and eye irritations.
