ABSTRACT: INTRODUCTION: Dermatomyositis has been described in the
setting of lyme infection in only nine previous case reports.
Although lyme disease is known to induce typical clinical
findings that are observed in various collagen vascular diseases,
to our knowledge, we believe that our case is the first
presentation of acute lyme disease associated with amyopathic
dermatomyositis, which was then followed by severe and fatal
interstitial pulmonary fibrosis only two months later.
CASE PRESENTATION: We present a case of a 64-year-old
African-American man with multiple medical problems who was
diagnosed with acute lyme infection after presenting with the
pathognomonic rash and confirmatory serology. In spite of
appropriate antimicrobial therapy for lyme infection, he
developed unexpected amyopathic dermatomyositis and then
interstitial lung disease.

Linda’s comment: I made this recipe and yummmmyyyy……enjoy
Directions
Heat the oil in a large sauté pan over medium heat. Add the onion, sprinkle with salt, and sauté until tender, about 3 minutes. Add the garlic and sauté until the onions are translucent, about 2 minutes.
Stir in the chipotle chiles then the tomatoes. Cook until most of the liquid from the tomatoes has evaporated and the mixture begins to thicken, stirring often, about 20 minutes.
Stir in the green onions and honey. Stir in the chicken. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Keep warm.
Heat a large flat griddle pan over medium-low heat. Lay 2 tortillas on the griddle and cook until hot but not crisp, about 2 minutes. Turn the tortillas over. Sprinkle 1/2 cup of the cheese over the bottom halves of the tortillas. Spoon about 3/4 cup of the chicken mixture in an even layer atop the cheese over each tortilla. Top each with 1/4 cup of cheese then with half of the avocado slices. Fold the tortillas over to cover the fillings and form a half-moon shape. Cook until the tortillas are crisp and golden and the cheese has melted, about 3 minutes on each side. Repeat to make 2 more quesadillas.
Open the quesadillas and scatter the cilantro over the filling. Drizzle the crema over the filling then close the quesadillas.
Cut the quesadillas into wedges. Serve with lime wedges and enjoy immediately.

Sauna therapy has been used to treat a number of different diseases known or thought to have a tetrahydrobiopterin (BH4) deficiency. It has been interpreted to act in multiple chemical sensitivity by increasing chemical detoxification and excretion but there is no evidence that this is its main mode of action. Sauna therapy may act to increase BH4 availability via two distinct pathways. Increased blood flow in heated surface tissues leads to increased vascular shear stress, inducing increased activity of GTP cyclohydrolase I (GTPCH-I) in those vascular tissues which will lead to increasing BH4 synthesis. A second mechanism involves the heat shock protein Hsp90, which is induced by even modest heating of mammalian tissues. Sauna heating of these surface tissues may act via Hsp90, which interacts with the GTPCH-I complex and is reported to produce increased GTPCH-I activity by lowering its degradation. The increased consequent availability of BH4 may lead to lowered nitric oxide synthase uncoupling, such as has been reported for the eNOS enzyme. Increased BH4 synthesis in surface tissues of the body will produce increased circulating BH4 which will feed BH4 to other body tissues that may have been BH4 deficient. Similar mechanisms may act in vigorous exercise due to the increased blood shear stresses and possibly also heating of the exercising tissues and heart.

More proof that autoimmune disease patients have chronic infections that are not widely recognized; this time we are talking about TB!
This research further supports the need for serious efforts to lower the total body burden of pathogens in all autoimmune diseases since 19% tested positive to TB. Of course they may all well have other concurrent infections with things like Chlamydia and CMV and even LYME too. No one has the dollars to fully test for every possible infection, and thus affordable non-toxic, out-patient, anti-infective therapies like ACS take a tremendous importance. It is always nice if initially some IV UVB and Ozone can be given to really aggressively lower the burden but always know that long term use of ACS and related
infection control nutrients are crucial, as the organism are usually never completely eradicated, and when they return, exacerbations of the autoimmune condition will follow.
This is the conclusion from this research – 19% test positive for TB.
Overall, 74 (19%) out of 393 subjects were TST-positive and 52 (13%) were QFT-GIT-positive. Concordance between TST and QFT-GIT results was good (87.7%): 13 were QFT-GIT-positive/TST-negative and 35 QFT-GIT-negative/TST-positive.

Screening for active tuberculosis (TB) and latent TB infection (LTBI) is mandatory prior to the initiation of tumour necrosis factor- inhibitor therapy. However, no agreement exists on the best strategy for detecting LTBI in this population. The aim of the present study was to analyse the performance of the tuberculin skin test (TST) and QuantiFERON®-TB Gold in-tube (QFT-GIT) on LTBI detection in subjects with immunomediated inflammatory diseases (IMID).
The TST and QFT-GIT were prospectively performed in 398 consecutive IMID subjects, 310 (78%) on immunosuppressive therapy and only 16 (4%) had been bacillus Calmette–Guérin (BCG) vaccinated.
Indeterminate results to QFT-GIT were found in five (1.2%) subjects. By multivariate analysis both tests were significantly associated with older age. Only the TST was associated with BCG vaccination and radiological lesions of past TB. Use of immunosuppressive drugs differently modulated QFT-GIT or TST scoring.

subscribe to the Aspartame Information List on www.mpwhi.com so you
will get copies of my emails and ask questions if you do file suit.
Also, if you need to know anything about the problems let me know and
I’ll answer them for you. For instance in the case of diabetes,
aspartame not only can precipitate diabetes but it simulates and
aggravates diabetic retinopathy and neuropathy, destroys the optic
nerve, causes diabetics to go into convulsions, interacts with
insulin and the free methyl alcohol causes them to lose limbs.

(IRVINE, CA) – I don’t believe in ghosts. If I ran into one or two, maybe I’d change my mind. The stories of lights in the former Marine Corps Air Stations El Toro’s control tower when the power was cut off in July 1999 may be just someone’s wild imagination or I guess if you believe in paranormal activity, maybe the ghosts of Marines who served on the base and returned to haunt the place. No question there’s good reasons for haunting the old base.
At night, the former base takes on the appearance of a ghost town. With the power to buildings cut off and hundreds of dilapidated buildings still standing, moonlight can play tricks on your mind. Shadows move or seem to move and it doesn’t take too long before normally rational people see things that are not there.

Linda’s comment: I strongly suggest you sign up for this newsletter…you won’t regret it.
Jeffery Smith is a ROCK STAR in my book….he has taken on Monsanto to prove how deadly
the GMO foods are for our bodies. Just think about it….every time you swallow GMO foods you
are dumping pesticides/herbicides and Lord knows what else into your belly. These pesticides,
herbicides are opening up in your stomach and reeking havoc on your organs!! Can you say Cancer?
I have preached for years now to EAT ONLY ORGANIC and wash those organics. While the government says walnuts is a drug, they don’t offer to tell you that they are allowing pesticides/herbicides to be dumped into your body. FOLLOW THE MONEY….
Bottom-line, you are what you eat….rent the moving Food, Inc….join Jeffery’s newsletter and bookmark his web site….It could very well save your life…
