Labels Can Lie: How to Read Bar Codes

Linda’s comment:  A friend of mine on another group posted this valuable information….make a copy for your purse/wallet…IMPORTANT…

With all the food and pet products now coming from China, make sure to
scrutinize the labels. But no matter what the front of a box or package
says, turn it over and study the bar code. Many products no longer show
where they were made; they show only where the distributor is located. The
bar code will show the product’s origin.

Below are the first three digits of the barcode, and where the product is
made:

00 – 09 . . . . . . . . .     USA and/or Canada.
30 – 37 . . . . . . . . .     France
40 – 44 . . . . . . . . .     Germany
49 . . . . . . . . . . . . .      Japan
50 . . . . . . . . . . . . .      UK
471 . . . . . . . . . . . .     Taiwan
690 – 692 . . . . . . .    China

Also, if a product says “made in PROC,” this is People’s Republic of
China-China.

Contaminated Food – Message from Dr. Gordon

How many illnesses you are seeing are related to food poisoning?  Many more than you might suspect. So many people have low stomach acid and yet believe that they have excess acid and might be on Nexium to increase their likelihood of succumbing to tainted food with acute or chronic GI related symptoms.

This article suggests many more than we may suspect are suffering from contaminated food. This is a quote from this very informative article and granted Congress will not “get it right” when it comes to correcting this additional source of toxins in our patients. I know that probiotics help us overcome a toxic meal and that many need to carry something with them as a first response to symptoms of food poisoning. EVERY day, about 200,000 Americans are sickened by contaminated food. Every year, about 325,000 are hospitalized by a food-borne illness. And the number who are killed annually by something they ate is roughly the same as the number of Americans who’ve been killed in Iraq and Afghanistan since 2003.

Those estimates, from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, suggest the scale of the problem. But they fail to convey the human toll. The elderly and people with compromised immune systems face an elevated risk from food-borne pathogens like listeria, campylobacter and salmonella. By far the most vulnerable group, however, are children under the age of 4. Our food will never be perfectly safe — and yet if the Senate fails to pass the food safety legislation now awaiting a vote, tens of thousands of American children will become needlessly and sometimes fatally ill.

Almost one year ago, the House of Representatives passed the Food Safety Enhancement Act with bipartisan support. A similar bill, the F.D.A. Food Safety Modernization Act, was unanimously approved by the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee in November. This legislation would grant the Food and Drug Administration, which has oversight over 80 percent of the nation’s food, the authority to test widely for dangerous pathogens and improve the agency’s ability to trace outbreaks back to their source. Most important, it would finally give the agency the power to order the recall of contaminated foods — and to punish companies that knowingly sell them.

Monsanto plans to unleash its latest Frankenfood experiment

Linda’s comments:  THIS is criminal in my book.  Do they think we have stupid stamped on our foreheads?  We can stop this or at least make enough noise that Monsanto will think twice.  The main thing we can do is JUST SAY NO TO GMO and DO NOT PURCHASE THESE DEADLY FOODS.  The consumers are in control and need to take a stand.  We need to put our feet down and stand against these companies that have NO regard for our health and safety.  Cancers and autoimmune diseases are on the rise.  You can bet that GMO foods are part of the problem.  Think of your children and grand-children.  Don’t you want them to lead a healthy life and live to teach their grand-children??  How many more lives have to be lost to these DEADLY foods?  Stop and think about this, when your past presidents would not allow the GMO foods to be served to their families how can they allow Monsanto to continue??  Follow the money!!!

 Linda’s comment:  This is so very important for those of us with chronic illness, although if healthy people pay attention they might not become chronically ill.  We use to be able to say that if you bought organic, you would be safe and get no GMO, however that is not true today.  If you see USDA organic, research it, as I have found during my own research that USDA can not be trusted.
 
I have found that my lifelong daily detox, helps me tremendously should I happen to ingest some of the GMO poisons.  If I eat something that is GMO, I immediately take a handful of Wobenzyme systemic enzyme and it helps to eat up the poison.  I use Wobenzyme also on an empty stomach, usually 8-10 3 times daily, and this was a big part of my protocol while fighting the Cancers.  Make sure you get the “real” Wobenzyme from Germany and not the wanna-be….read the label…

Chronic Lyme Disease: Myth or Reality?


Linda’s comment:  The FIGHT program is a perfect example of how you can fight Lyme disease.  As Dr Patricia Gerbarg, MD has found out.  She has not experienced the FIGHT program to my knowledge, but the protocols she mentioned are all part of the FIGHT program.  It is a must that we reduce the total body burden of toxins and pathogens to fight the Lyme critters.  Lyme loves heavy metals.  We are slammed every time we walk out our front doors with 500 to 600 environmental toxins.  It is a daily battle, but I found the FIGHT program made this all very easy.  I only wish I had  the knowledge of the FIGHT program with the first Lyme infection.

I have never taken any antibiotics and don’t intend to, but I focused on the lifelong daily detox program FIGHT and cleaned up my lifestyle, home and diet.  I got rid of all the GMO foods, gluten, sugar, caffeine, alcohol and my body shakes if I pass a fast-food restaurant….the smell turns my stomach.  Once you clean  up your diet and clean up your homestead, you begin to feel better….Lifestyle is probably one of the hardest things I have ever done….Yes, I cheat, but at least now I have learned to cheat. and can neutralize a toxic food if I eat it.  Once you begin to feel better it makes the journey of cleaning up much easier. Wild Meat Raises Lead Exposure

Linda’s comments:  No only do we have to worry about eating wild meat containing Lyme disease, but now we have to be concerned about the “lead” exposure from eating this meat.  There is also proof that deer from our high mountain ranges are getting lead exposure from the “coal” stacks in China.

Heavy metals is all around us and it is a must that we begin a journey in a lifelong daily detox program to reduce these heavy metals from our bodies.  For those with chronic illness, like Lyme disease, it becomes deadly.  If you have amalgams, it is important to have them safely removed by a dentist that knows how to remove them properly.  Look for a Holistic dentists and if there are none in your community, then ask around for dentists that have experience in removing amalgams safely.

You can help protect yourself by finding a lifelong daily detox like the FIGHT program.  I have been on this protocol for over a year and am very pleased.  Feel free to ask questions about the products I have found that replenish my body to a healthy state.  Don’t get caught up in a once a year cleanse.  A lifelong cleanse is vital for good health.
